Recipe

  • Rice and Beans

Serves

  • 10 people

Ingredients

  • 1 kg of rice and 1kg of beans
  • 2 tablespoon of salt
  • 2 cubes of maggi
  • 1 teaspoon green spices (leaf, onion, cutimajuo, celerine and parceling)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 2 large onion
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 tin tomatoes or 8 flesh tomatoes
  • oil ½ bottle of red palm oil or groundnut oil
  • 1 cup of crayfish

Preparation for bean

  • Wash the beans boil it in 7 liters of water and add 1tablespoon salt

  • when it is done, any water left should be through away

  • Bliss the oil if it is red if not, hot the groundnut oil

  • put tomatoes and stir it for ten minutes and put the spices and stir for another five minutes and add ½ liter of water and crayfish and put the bean. After twenty minutes, remove the pot fire.

Preparation for rice

  • Stand a pot in the fire put three liters of water, wash the rice and put it inside the water and let stay thirty five minutes, check it but don't add water in it, stay for another fifteenth minutes and see whether the water has evaporate and remove the pot and stand it for ten minutes with opening it.
