Pound Cocoyams and tomato sauce

  • Pound Cocoyams and tomato sauce

Serves

  • 5people

Ingredients

  • 1.5kg of coco-yams
  • 10 flesh tomatoes
  • 2 cubes of maggi
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 onion 1kg of beef
  • ¼ of red palm oil

Preparation for coco-yam

  • clean the coco-yams and wash it

  • Stand the pot in the fire put one liter of water

  • After one hour when the water evaporate,

  • pound the coco-yams either using a pot or a molter

  • Take a plate and remove it in small quantities and wrap it with a leaf or you roll it only with your hand.

Preparation for tomatoes source

  • - Boil the meat with two liter of water for an hour with salt
  • slice the tomatoes, meat, onion,

  • Bleach the oil fry the onion and tomatoes and stir it for twenty minutes
  • Put the remaining water that you boil the meat with. After ten minutes, you add maggi and the meat. Stir it for five minutes and remove the pot
